2019 Annual Report – Saving Lives and Making an Impact: Most Successful Year on Record for Organ and Tissue Donation in Colorado and Wyoming

2019 was the most lifesaving and healing year our region has ever seen. A total of 596 lives were saved through organ donation and thousands more were saved and healed through tissue donation. We credit our region’s continued success to strong partnerships and our mission-driven approach and process improvements made through our decade-long performance excellence journey. And, of course, none of our work would be possible without the kindness and selflessness of heroic donors and their families, who gave the gift of life.
