In four years with Donor Alliance, Steve has leveraged his 25 years of information systems leadership to transform the use of technology to support organizational outcomes. He designed and wrote software that is used to manage daily operations, improve the quality of clinical data, and manage clinical inventory. Steve led the first national data summit for the organ procurement industry and pioneered the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict organ referral outcomes. In addition to being a co-lead of categories 4 and 6, Steve also currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations Data and Information Management Council and holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado – Boulder.
Niki Titsworth RN, BSN, CPTC
Organ Recovery Manager, Donor Alliance
In her key role in the organization’s organ work system, Niki coaches, mentors and manages clinical organ recovery staff who facilitate the evaluation, medical management and coordination of organ donation. An experienced critical care nurse, Niki joined Donor Alliance as an organ recovery coordinator in 2013 and was quickly promoted to the manager role. With expertise in knowledge management, Niki co-led category 4 through the organization’s Baldrige winning campaign. An intimate understanding of the organization’s clinical processes helped Niki drive more effective measurement and analysis of organizational knowledge to foster improvement.
