Jennifer Muriett, MSN, BSN, CPTC

Jennifer Muriett is a healthcare executive with more than 30 years of experience. She began her career as a critical care nurse, where she found her passion for organ donation and transplantation. For the past 27 years, she has been a high performing leader with a proven track record of increasing organ donation and transplants. She specializes in leadership and motivation, strategic planning, quality improvement, driving operational & clinical excellence and culture development. Jennifer’s experience across various organ procurement organizations has enabled her to be instrumental in creating collaborative partnerships to drive improvement in the organ donation system, working with donor families, hospitals, and transplant centers, locally and nationally.
She has served as Donor Alliance’s Chief Operating Officer in Colorado, since June 2020. In her short tenure, Jennifer has increased donation after circulatory death by 133%, all organ donation by 44.7%, and organ transplants by 52.3%. Her work is dedicated to ensuring that the gift of life is maximized; by developing opportunities to collaborate with hospital partners, transplant centers, and the community to save more lives.
Her leadership service includes OPTN Board of Directors – Secretary 2024-2026, UNOS Region 8 Representative Liver/Intestine Committee 2023-2024, AOPO Data Committee – past chair 2022-2025, The Alliance Leadership & Innovation Council 2020-2024, Chair Elect 2025, QI Coach ETCLC 2022-present, Donor Management Portal National Advisory Group, AOPO Ethics Committee 2008-2021, Chair 2021, UNOS OPO Committee 2016-2022, Region 5 Collaborative Leader 2010-2012.
