Aftercare

Donor Alliance is committed to supporting the families of our heroic donors after donation. Our Aftercare program aims to support donor families in their grief, honor the gift of donation, and connect families in meaningful ways to the gift that their loved one gave. The Aftercare program is available to all donor families, whether their loved one was an organ donor, a tissue donor, or even if we were unable to proceed with donation. There are no time limitations and families have access to the services whenever and for however long they are needed.

Grief Support

Donor Alliance connects families to grief support literature and local resources in our community. We also partner with organizations who provide free grief support as well as financial assistance for donor families who seek grief support privately.

Honoring the Gift of Donation

Donor Alliance invites families to join us in honoring their loved ones with mementos, events, and our Donor Family Quilt Project.

Connecting Families

Donor Alliance facilitates correspondence between donor families and recipients who want to connect. These connections are encouraged, and we and provide guidance and resources for both families and recipients.
