Keep in mind that any DDS or community events activities require the Becoming a Community Advocate training.

Metropolitan Denver Opportunities:
- Administrative Project: DMV Brochure Boxing. We have a large number of brochures that are slated to be sent to the 60 different driver license offices around the state of Colorado. We are looking for an Advocate to separate them and put them into boxes for shipping. Ideally, this project would be down on a Tuesday or Wednesday between 8:00am-5:00pm (we anticipate the project would take about 5 hours to complete). This project is available at the Spruce Street Office in Denver, CO.

- DDS/Community Event: Aurora Holiday Tree Lighting. Donor Alliance is excited to be at the annual Aurora Holiday Tree Lighting to educate and inspire residents about how organ and tissue donors are the real “heroes”. This is a free, family-friendly event. We are looking for 2 Advocates to help support a table at the event to giveaway swag and help answer questions from the community about organ, eye and tissue donation! This event takes place at the Aurora Municipal Center in Aurora.
- Tuesday, December 2, 4:00pm-7:00pm
- Special Event: Parade of Lights! We are looking for 15-25 volunteers to walk with our Gift of Life balloon at the annual Parade of Lights downtown Denver. Advocates are welcome to bring family and friends to this fun downtown Denver tradition! *Currently, this event if full, but to be added to the waiting list, e-mail volunteers@donoralliance.org.
- Saturday, December 6, 4:00pm-8:00pm
- DDS/Community Event: My Ribbon, My Reason Denver Gymnastics Meet. The third annual My Ribbon, My Reason competition on Sunday, February 1 at 2:45pm in Magness Arena at the University of Denver. DU Gymnasts have chosen causes they care about and will wear a ribbon that represents the causes while competing. They will celebrate a reason for competing that is bigger than sports. We will come together as a community in an array of beautiful colors and we’ll partner with campus, local and national organizations tackling each cause the athletes have chosen. We are looking for two Advocates to staff a table at this meaningful event to answer questions, hand out swag and interact with the gymnastics community. To sign up, e-mail the Volunteer Manager.

Southern Colorado Opportunities:

Northern Colorado Opportunities:
- DDS/Community Event: CSU Men’s Basketball Game. Join Donor Alliance at Colorado State University as the Rams take on the Fresno State Bulldogs! We’re teaming up with CSU Athletics to raise awareness for organ, eye and tissue donation. Fans can learn more about the impact of donation and sign up on the donor registry. Game time is currently to be determined. This event takes place at Moby Arena, 951 W. Plum St, Fort Collins, CO.

- DDS/Community Event: CSU Women’s Basketball Game. Join Donor Alliance at Colorado State University as the Rams take on UNLV Rebels! We’re teaming up with CSU Athletics to raise awareness for organ, eye and tissue donation. Fans can learn more about the impact of donation and sign up to be donors on site.

Western Slope/Grand Junction:
