Myrna Garcia

Myrna Garcia began her tenure at Donor Alliance as a Family Support Coordinator in 2001, walking donor families through the pathways of organ and tissue donation. Currently she is a Donation Consultant, collaborating with hospital staff in all departments to support the donation process in the Denver area. A first generation American, Myrna received a BA in Spanish with a minor in Fine Arts from Metropolitan University of Denver. Her early experience working as a Spanish interpreter and serving as a volunteer Victim Advocate the stage for her passion with working with non-profits and assisting others in times of crisis. She now serves on the Board of Directors for Taylor’s Gift Foundation, an organization that provides free grief support to organ and tissue donor families.
