In this month’s staff spotlight, meet Dylan Taylor. Dylan is a Business Intelligence Analyst at Donor Alliance and has been part of the team for over 1 year.

Meet Dylan in our August 2023 Donor Alliance Staff Spotlight

Tell us a little about your role at Donor Alliance:

I, along with my fellow Intelligence analysts, attempt to take the huge amount of data that we produce, and draw insights to help solve problems and lead to action that advances our mission of saving and healing lives.

What do you enjoy most about/what’s the most rewarding aspect of your role?

The most rewarding aspect is knowing that the work I am doing directly helps people. I enjoy working with people that are so dedicated to what they do and show up every day with so much passion.

Tell us about a time at work that really moved you. What’s the most meaningful interaction you’ve had at a Donor Alliance event? Most moving experience you’ve been a part of? (answer if able)

Every time I hear someone share their story of how they have been touched by organ donation or stories of the experiences my colleagues have had on the job it is a moving experience.

If you change anything about your life, what would you change?

I would have started learning the technical skills that I have needed for data analysis sooner. No matter how good you are there is always more to learn.

When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?

Being in the Mountains. Rock climbing, hiking, skiing, I love any opportunity to spend time in the hills.
